Dionysos Nyktelios Accustomed myself to dark synths and heavy atmospheres that surround the listener in a dense fog, Brothertiger's 'Fundamentals' feel like a ray of light piercing the shadows around and tearing them apart, warming the heart and soothing the soul.

Is hard to believe that this elegant, masterfully crafted collection is a compilation of live improvisations; it only makes the experience more magical.

Isn't easy to explain how good this collection of tracks is; just give it a try. Favorite track: I-III Windjammer.

Calling All Stations Brothertiger's "Fundamentals" series stands proudly in my collection along such great synth / chillwave creators as Com Truise, Tycho and Steve Hauschildt. This series made an incredible impact on me over the past year and I'm thrilled that it's now in vinyl. IMO it's as important as any release so far this century. Incredible!

about

The Fundamentals series was started amidst the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, beginning in 2020. Brothertiger (John Jagos) began streaming improvisational music-making from his studio in Brooklyn, New York. The idea of curating compilation albums filled with the "best of" from the streams was frequently brought up by viewers. Thus, the Fundamentals series was born.

Fundamentals: The Anthology is the complete collection of Fundamentals releases, including Volumes I-IV. They were released between 2020-2022.

To celebrate the release of the final volume, Satanic Panic Recordings is pressing a *limited* run of all 4 volumes to vinyl. A special deluxe package features all 4 volumes on wax, a bonus track, a limited edition tote bag, and an official Brothertiger slipmat for your records to play on.
